AK ACNE TREATMENT

This treatment has been designed to target different types of active acne. Using medical-grade cosmeceutical products, the Enzyme Peel will aid in decongesting the skin by removing build up of dead skin cells, oils and dirt. The steam and extractions will help with clearing
blackheads / whiteheads which are also a form of mild acne and can cause more serious breakouts by keeping pores clogged. This will not be done with a peel.

The High Frequency zaps away active acne which allows it to then reduce and clear up over the next few weeks following the treatment. The Dermalux Medical LED light therapy kills acne-causing bacteria as well as calm & soothe inflammation which helps in preventing further breakouts.

  • Will the hair grow back thicker?
    This is a myth as it is physiologically impossible. As it is being cut across the surface, it can sometimes feel different when regrowing but will remain the same thickness as before.
  • How often can this treatment be done?
    Dermaplaning can be done every 3-4 weeks to prevent build-up of dead skin cells
  • Does it hurt?
    It is a pain-free treatment and is known to be relaxing. The edge of the scalpel is used at a 45 degree angle which prevents scraping of the skin.
  • Who is it suitable for?
    Everyone can benefit from Dermaplaning - unless you have certain skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. It is particularly great for those suffering with dry, dull skin, fine lines and rough skin texture.
